Waiting

We wait at once for yesterday and for tomorrow.

Waiting is action in suspension, so, while we wait, we may experience entire internal dramas which are decisive for the forms our later actions take.

It is the common aspiration, both inner and social, of every one of us who waits to pretend that we are not.
